One of the best-known names in UFO research is teleporting into the metaverse this week.
Preston Dennett, an investigator who has collected firsthand accounts of alien encounters for four decades, will give a live in-world talk on the DigiWorldz grid on Thursday, July 30. The event starts at 2 p.m. Pacific time on the grid’s Armadillo region.

“Something special is landing in DigiWorldz this month,” event organizer Jay Mosely said in an announcement. “Whether you’re a long-time follower of UFO research or simply curious, this event promises to be an exciting highlight of the summer.”
The talk is open to all DigiWorldz residents and to hypergrid travelers visiting from other grids.
Decades of UFO cases
Dennett has been investigating UFOs and the paranormal since 1986 and has written more than 30 books and over 100 articles on the subject, according to his website.
His books include Extraterrestrial Visitations, Inside UFOs, and the award-winning UFO Healings. Dennett has appeared on television programs including “Ancient Aliens,” “UFO Witness,” and “Expedition X.” He posts new videos every week on his YouTube channel, which features “thousands of firsthand accounts of humanoid encounters, onboard UFO encounters, bizarre and unusual sightings, and UFO cases that you’ve never heard before,” according to the channel description.
The session will feature real cases, insights, and time for discussion with the audience, according to the announcement.
Event organizer Mosely, the event organizer, told Hypergrid Business that the talk will focus on alien abduction. “That seems to be his main interest.”

DigiWorldz launched in 2015 and is one of the larger commercial OpenSim grids running on the OpenSim software. The grid sells regions to residents and hosts community events and content.
